Fraud Allegations Alert against Global Governance Initiative by Shatakshi Sharma and Naman Shrivastava

Dear All,

Recently, a few fake IAS officers (full time content creators) and a few teachers from one specific billion dollar ed tech company sponsored a newly created Twitter handle, and a few anonymous social media Accounts to peddle lies about me on social media.

This was done so that we stopped talking about the IAS scam in public, brought down this self-glorified institution, and possibly hurt their business interest.

Here are the allegations leveled against me, my venture GGI, and it is my duty to clear these allegations and give my clarifications with all facts, data, and time stamps. I will also prove those facts with relevant authentic video links, post links so that rational folks may cross-verify the claims.

Allegation 1 : We run Global Governance Initiative and ‘claim’ to offer a ‘masterclass’ by the likes of people from BCG, McKiney, and more. How? Details are conspicuously missing.

Busting Allegation 1 : Here are the video snippets of the same Masterclasses.

1. By Global Chairman, BCG Henderson Institute

2. By Former Mckinsey & Co. Global CEO

3. By India Chairman, BCG :

4.By Former McKinsey Partner :

5. By Senior BCG Partner :

6. By Former McKiney Partner :

7. By Former BCG India Chairman :

8. Former McKinsey Partner :

Please note - we never claim only BCG, McKinsey, or Bain. The Masterclasses also cover elements of Product Management & Platforms, Impact Investing, Policy Consulting, Emerging Technologies, Venture Capital, Ethics and Leadership, and more - subject matter experts from those domains are also brought in.

For Product Management - Amazon India head, PMs from Netflix, Tesla, stripe have also taken classes.

And here are the proofs against some of those fraud allegations

1. Former Election Commissioner of India : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs3-LQzBKHc&t=173s

2. Generative AI Masterclass :

3. Impact Investing Masterclass : Speaker is himself Ex BCG, MBA & MS at Stanford.

4. Climate Change Masterclass :

5. Product Management Masterclass : By Product Manager at Walmart India

6. Policy Consulting Masterclass : By the Head of World Economic Forum, 4th Industrial Revolution.

There are more than 100 Guest Instructors. You may yourself check the list of those speakers who have delivered masterclasses on our LinkedIn Page, YouTube Page, and Instagram Page.

In terms of details - here’s are further busting above paid allegation :

1 : There is not just 1 masterclass as claimed in the allegation. There are a series of around 9 Masterclasses - around 10-12 hours. This includes : 1. Product Management and Platforms. 2. Management Consulting and Sustainability. 3. Impact Investing and Start ups 4. Management Communication 5. Emerging Technology and AI 6. Policy Consulting 7. MBA for Impact (this has masterclasses on operations, corporate finance, marketing, strategy, economics). 8. Liberal Arts Masterclass. 9) CV & Case Prep Masterclass.

Additionally, GGI scholars/Fellows - also have access to proprietary tools such as Schrodinger and Trinity - for case solving and revisions.

Here are details of the tools

Not just this - GGI Fellows - also write consulting style research papers on policy and social issue. Here are the published papers - these papers and groups - allow them to collaborate and put into practice theoretical learnings. These published papers have been used as cue for meaningful conversations in interviews.

I’m of the firm opinion - 20s should not be just spent wasting time to prepare for one exam full time, but also be used to put those learnings into practice - via internships, and real world experience.

When they write papers - they are mentored by mentors from top tier consulting firms - you can find the names of those mentors in the published list of papers.

These mentors have been associated with organizations like McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Bridgespan, NITI Aayog, Dalberg, and more.

List of Papers :

1. Cervical Cancer in India : Challenges and Opportunities :

2. The problem of Greenwashing in India : Policy Review :

3. Millet Revolution :

4. Potential for solving affordable Housing in India.

5. Telemedicine in Rural India :

6. Travel Fast : PRD Product Paper by GGI Fellows :

You may read through all such papers on the official website - here’s the link :

Allegation 2 : Testimonials are misleading - further research reveal that those successful alumni are ISB graduates.

Busting the Allegation 2 :

Here are video testimonials. Some of these testimonials were uploaded many years before the AI revolution started taking place.

These testimonials are also available via screenshots. And none of these people are ‘ISB’ Graduates.

But to rally around the ISB Point. I’m proud of the work ISB has done via bringing quality education to India. So, there are those who join not just ISB - but also Harvard, Wharton, Kellog, INSEAD after the GGI Fellowship. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

As long as they are joining top tier MBA programs of the world - they have all my support. I do not want GGI Fellows to be paying Rs. 40-50 Lakh for a useless MBA program in Gurgaon or Amethi. It is hard earned money, and some may consider it as an investment - of not just money but also emotions and time.

Everyone should be given the opportunity to grow and thrive in life - and I’m glad that we are able to create a collaborative community of some remarkable people who are transforming various industries.

Here are some who joined such universities after their time at GGI, but they still stay connected to GGI - assist the GGI Alumni, and also leverage the GGI Networks. Many times these universities also check with us about these scholars/fellows association at GGI. And we happily recommend these candidates.

In fact, here’s a post where I have detailed why it makes sense to pursue degree from top tier MBA programs (and not nonsense programme) :

2. She joined GGI after Columbia university (further proving the relevance of GGI) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XC2VXBF29g

And there are more.

Not just this - here are my honest view on GGI itself - where do we lack, and where shall we improve.

You may read through these posts, and match it with the time stamps. We do not term it as a ‘magic’ potion. I have clearly told in some of my videos and posts

1. What are we missing out at GGI - and why many after GGI are doing MBA : Ideally this should not be needed as GGI aims to make MBA redundant.

3. Here are clear views on what should be the career plan for those who are thinking of joining GGI - posted by my co-founder.

Allegation 3 : We drop random institutes names as their partners to establish credibility. It is all smoke and mirrors with the hashtag UPSC Scam.

1. Busting Allegation Proof 1 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtbiWgNkuac

3. Busting Allegation Proof 3 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJS8OHVysqA

5. Busting allegation proof 5 :

8. Busting allegation proof 8 :

9. Busting Allegation Proof 9 :

10. Busting allegation proof 10 :

11. Busting Allegation Proof 11 :

And there are many such videos of collaborations with established organizations and you can see details here- www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi0BJRRG9fs&list=PLKGsZp3dZQfGxLc9Y0dh9idBEriGMqPk-

Allegation 4 : Institute claiming to offer lectures from top consulting firms?

Busting allegation 4 : This was never claimed, and this is not even possible - how can top consulting firms offer lectures? They are not ed companies. These top consulting firms are consulting firms - they are in that business. It is not their mandate to teach students.

However, as evidenced from above - Partners, chairman of such consulting firms have taken masterclasses at GGI as guest instructors. Not just consulting- by many leaders from Product Management, impact investing firms do the same.

Snippets of those Masterclasses are linked, and sharing the proofs again.

1. By Chairman, BCG Henderson Institue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta9VTGvF9ug

2. By Chairman, BCG :

3.By Former McKinsey Partner :

4. By Senior BCG Partner :

5. By Former McKiney Partner :

6. By Former BCG Chairman :

And here are the proofs of some of those snippets :

1. Former Election Commissioner of India : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs3-LQzBKHc&t=173s

2. Generative AI Masterclass :

3. Impact Investing Masterclass : Speaker is himself Ex BCG, MBA & MS at Stanford.

4. Climate Change Masterclass :

5. Product Mamagenet Masterclass : By Product Manager at Walmart India

6. Policy Consulting Masterclass : By the Head of 4th industrial Revolution.

Allegation 5 : McKinsey, BCG, Bain is not easy for top IIM Grads. They hire only from top MBA IIMs like A, B, C and not even all IIMs.

Yes, I agree. What’s the allegation here? In fact, we have said this time and again in our posts and videos - there is life beyond McKinsey, BCG, Bain. I agree, many from GGI have gone into work at MBBs- but there are many who have gone to work with other firms.

Additionally, People who are from BCG also join GGI. GGI is not your undergrad placement agency, and we do not want to make GGI into a placement agency. Placement mindset is disastrous - and I have spoken at length about it - already in the following posts and videos. Attaching the link for full transparency - you can also cross check and verify the dates of these posts and videos.

Here’s one such proof of one such person - who joined GGI after BCG. This cross exchange of learning is needed and should be appreciated.

Many don’t understand but when you create an education ecosystem- scholars join from all walks of life (irrespective whether they came from a said industry or joined later) to become a better person and a professional both.

Here is my honest view on GGI itself - where do we lack, where shall we improve, and how are we planning to do so. You may read through these posts, and match it with the time stamps. We do not term it as a ‘magic’ potion. I have clearly told in some of my videos and posts

1. First for McKinsey, BCG, Bain - aren’t the only firms in the world. There are other organizations that are doing remarkable jobs - QCI, Capacity Building Commission, NITI Aayog, Kearney, Invest India, and more.

Here’s an example of someone who is working in Capacity Building Commission under the aegis of Former McKinsey Chairman :

b).Capacity Building Commission :

Here’s a video proof as well : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA4YaeVZhsA&t=41s

Videos of the same :

Video of the same : Akshat

e) Tech Mahindra : Post by the original beneficiary (not an anonymous Reddit, or Twitter Troll)

2. People who are from BCG, IIM A - they have also join GGI - and this cross exchange of learning is a healthy exercise.

Allegation 6 : "This “guy” tell that you can work with these firms. How? No details. Just beating around the bush. I have no personal grudges against anyone. Just writing this post so that nobody wastes hard earned 80k for a dream that will never be achieved through his course"

This is wrong. In fact, there are two wrongs in this allegation.

2. 9 Masterclasses + Consulting Style Research Paper + Online Tools + Buddy Programs and a community that looks out for each other- aimed at ensuring this. Of course, no one can guarantee things - and in none of the official posts or videos anyone has claimed the same.

Even Harvard provides no guarantees - i have written details post around placement culture, and here are the links :

Allegations around 80 K for a dream - to build a community, to pay salaries, instructor fee, collaborations, hosting charges - all of that require money- I won’t be ashamed of saying that schools such Masters Union are charing upward of 15-20 Lakh for less than 1% we offer at GGI.

We are not investor backed, and therefore we do not care about numbers or scale - we don’t select everyone who applies with perverse intentions, and we will never compromise on quality just to ask influencer to create dedicated advertisements for us.

---

I am honestly not penning this for those fake IAS officers or individuals hiding behind a veil of anonymity to defame me for likes and retweet. It doesn’t matter to me - as long as I’m working my heart out for our ventures.

I am doing this for anyone and everyone who is scared to build something with the fear of "what the world will say"!

I want to ensure that each one of you will always have my support.

I will not shy away from answer questions, but such distractive exercises to defame my hard work would be put in place so that certain elements of the IAS/MBA lobby could thrive !
